How long does it take to learn to play acoustic guitar?

I've never played an instrument, and I would play guitar. But it hurts fingers? How long does it take to learn for the average person? Where I can get a guitar online cheap but good? (Most we are more or less damage on the status of money, as you probably know) What is better a guitar or piano? Thanks a lot xx:)

Great to hear your considering learning to play guitar. Personally, I prefer the guitar to the piano. Look, I know about piano for nearly a year but never really had fun do so. The only time I really found was in the practice of the lesson. So I decided to learn to play guitar, and was a great choice. I've been playing for 3 years. In fact, the pain disappears when playing the guitar after the first month, so no problem (if your practice!). For me to be taught a song and be people more confidence that I think sounded good took about 4-5 months, and time passes quickly. For a good guitar online, you might want to check out eBay or Craigslist, just do a little research before buying the guitar. Now I see that consideration of acoustic guitar, but I have to say, power is definitely easier. In an acoustic guitar, the strings are much farther from the neck when compared with an electric guitar, making it harder to play because you have to push harder. However, if you wish, you can go to a local Guitar Center and check some of the sets start with. You get a guitar, an amp, some picks, a chord, and sometimes a book for beginners around 200-300 dollars. Here is a list of good brands of guitar for beginners: Squire, Epiphone, Dean, Ibanez, Gretsch, etc. Hope this helped!
