What is a good acoustic electric guitar?

I have been playing an electric guitar for a few years, but some of the music I play requires an acoustic. I only have six to seven hundred dollars to spend on it. I have been looking at some takamine guitars. Please give some other recommendations.

Although in the world of electric guitars this name isn’t really respected, I think that Epiphone makes great acoustic guitars in the mid-range prices.

The Epiphone Masterbilt guitars are great, I own the AJ-500. Sounds magnificent.
