I want to play electric guitar, what else do I need besides the guitar?
Ok, I’m saving up to buy my first guitar. I want to play as a hobby. I’ve been looking at the Ibanez ART100 (if you have any input tell me!) I’ve only seen positive reviews. So I know I need an amp too (I was looking at the Fender Frontman 10G 10W combo, any input?) What else would I need? I know I need a cable to connect the guitar and amp but I don’t know what they’re called…also, the amp has a headphone jack, but I’m not sure if I would need an adapter?

I've been playing guitar for about 3-4 months. I have a nice acoustic guitar and electric one not so nice. Acoustics is an Ibanez electric and a Fender Starcaster (one of which came in a pack of shit). I'm looking to buy a new power and do not know exactly what would be best for me. Well, you should probably play acoustic for a few months, it is better for finger strength and makes it easier to play electric. The Fender Standard Stratocaster guitar is a very large for the small price of about $ 350. I had one for 3 years and is still in perfect condition and finish still looks amazing. It also has a very playable neck. This also applies to any telecaster. If your willing to spend much money Schecters are great. You should go to a guitar shop because you have to decide if you like the sound and feel. I always say guitar player chooses.

Need a wah pedal: Dunlop Original Crybaby or Vox V847?
I need a semi-long lasting wah pedal that is cheap (I’m on a college students piggy bank scrapings here). I have it narrowed between these two but my music stores in area are massively understocked so I have no way of testing either pedal with my rig. I am a heavy blues/funk player very SRV, Hendrix, Clapton, and -strange I know- primarily influenced by John Frusciante from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. My rig is primarily a Marshall MG 100 head over cabinet and a Fender American Telecaster Deluxe.
Any recommendations for my particular situation?
